William Fulbright Scholarship<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to attend the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom for a Master&#8217;s of Arts in archaeology. At Liverpool, she&#8217;ll take\u00a0classes on the archaeology of the Near East and various materials analyses, with an emphasis on archaeobotany for the master&#8217;s thesis work. Sydney will be conducting research at the Liverpool Archaeobotany Laboratory, focusing on human-environmental interactions and early agricultural development in the Near East.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><b>Emma Schlauder\u00a0<\/b>(CAS\u201919) has been awarded a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/bufellow\/emma-schlauder-3\/\"><span class=\"s2\">J. William Fulbright Scholarship<\/span><\/a>\u00a0for study in the United Kingdom.\u00a0A double major in archaeology and history, with a minor in classical civilization, Emma will use the award to attend the University of Sheffield&#8217;s MSc program in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology in fall 2019.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for research or art projects, graduate degree programs, or for English Teaching Assistantships outside of the United States.
