Peer Mentors are an integral part of FY 101, a 1-credit course offered to first-year students during the fall semester. Peer Mentors are responsible for helping plan syllabi and course activities, facilitating discussion, and promoting student engagement both in and outside of the classroom. Serving both as role models and valuable resources to first-year students, Peer Mentors assist in making connections with a range of campus departments, student organizations, and the vast array of opportunities that exist at Boston University and in the great city of Boston.
