Please note that transfer courses are not eligible for Hub general education credit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h3 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Transfer Credits Taken Within the United States, Before Matriculation<\/h3><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>All domestic transfer credits taken before matriculation are processed by the Credit Evaluation Office <a href=\"mailto:credeval@bu.edu\">credeval@bu.edu<\/a>, 617-353-2319).<\/p>\n<p>If you are transfer student, please refer to the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/admissions\/transfer\/transfer-credit\/\">Transfer Admissions process<\/a><\/strong> for more information about how your transfer credit will be evaluated.<br \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h3 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Transfer Credits Taken Within the United States, After Matriculation<\/h3><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>You can read the policy on transfer of undergraduate credit from US institutions<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/academics\/cas\/policies\/transfer-credit\/\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Policy highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transfer courses are not eligible for Hub general education credit<\/li>\n<li>Transfer credit must be taken at an accredited college or university<\/li>\n<li>A minimum grade of C is required for courses to be eligible to transfer<\/li>\n<li>Courses receive no more than the number of credits earned at the host institution\n<ul>\n<li>For example, a course worth 3 semester credits at the outside college or university will transfer in as 3.0 credits to BU; courses taken on a trimester or quarter system will be converted to semester credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Courses must carry at least 2.5 BU credits<\/li>\n<li>CAS students may not be enrolled at another institution while enrolled at BU in the fall and spring semesters.\n<ul>\n<li>Courses taken over the summer or while on a leave of absence are accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are considering any domestic external courses after you&#8217;ve started at BU, please submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/cas-advising-transfer-credit-pre-approval-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transfer Course Pre-Screen Request Form<\/a>. Students must consult with the Program Manager prior to applying for an international study program in order to determine if the program they have selected is acceptable under University policy.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer credit must be approved in advance.
