{"id":8676,"date":"2013-03-13T12:09:50","date_gmt":"2013-03-13T16:09:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/?page_id=8676"},"modified":"2013-03-13T14:22:52","modified_gmt":"2013-03-13T18:22:52","slug":"statistics-software-resources","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/statistics-software-resources\/","title":{"rendered":"Statistics Software Resources"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Statistics Software available on BU Scientific Computing Facilities Systems<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In support of BU\u2019s research community, the IS&amp;T Scientific Computing and Visualization (SCV) group provides statistics software for use on its systems, as well as training and consulting on the use of this software.<\/p>\n<p>SCV currently deploys and maintains SAS, Stata, and R on its Linux clusters, and is investigating the possibility of installing SPSS on these machines as well.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information about these services, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/tech\/research\/training\/scv-software-packages\/statistics\/\">SCV Statistics Software<\/a> page, where you will find help with accessing and running these packages, in addition to statistical programming support.
