Course offerings vary each semester.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"5\"><strong>BU Sustainability<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Find out about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/sustainability\/howto\/\">BU\u2019s commitment to a sustainable future<\/a> and how you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/articles\/2020\/how-to-make-bu-more-sustainable\/\">get involved<\/a> as an undergraduate student, from greening your dorm room to becoming a sustainability ambassador and leader, and other (big or small!) changes you can make.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"5\"><strong>On-Campus Research\/UROP<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/urop\/\">Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program<\/a> (UROP) is a University-wide program that funds undergraduate students to conduct research with BU faculty members in all disciplines. CAS students make up the majority of the participants too. You can get a list of recent projects on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/urop\/achievements\/award-recipients\/2020-2021-awarded-students\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">their website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"5\"><strong>On-Campus Internships<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/student-life\/undergraduate-students\/ospl\/internships\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CAS On-Campus Internship Program<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provides you with critical, real-world workplace experience through on-campus internships and a one-credit course that focuses on the development of career goals and professional networking skills. Internship opportunities include positions in archival research, information technology, institutional research, video production, and outreach and communication.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"5\"><strong>Student Employment<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bu.edu\/seo\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BU Student Employment<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> employs over 2,500 work-study students on campus, in the University\u2019s schools, colleges, and offices and even off campus at nonprofit, incorporated community service organizations. You may even <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/cas-student-wins-student-employment-award\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">win a campus award<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for your work.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"5\"><strong>Study Abroad <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience one of the most popular college experiences through <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/cas\/academics\/undergraduate-education\/special-academic-opportunities\/study-abroad\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BU Study Abroad<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The University offers almost 100 opportunities in more than 30 cities, spanning six continents, so whether you want to do a semester at sea, explore Sydney, Australia, or study art history in the United Kingdom, you can find the program that works for your major and interests. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, while away from campus, you have the chance to intern and further your career prospects. Professional opportunities include studying management, language, and the arts.
