    The Holberg Prize is an international prize awarded annually for outstanding contributions to research in the humanities, social sciences, law and theology.

  • Early Career Funding for Biomedical Research: Meet the Richard and Susan Smith Family Foundation 
    Date: Tuesday, June 22, 2021
    Time:     3 p.m.
    The Richard and Susan Smith Family Foundation, in partnership with the Office of Research and Foundation Relations, will present a workshop to help acquaint researchers at BU with the Foundation’s early career funding programs in biomedical research. Learn more and register here.

  • The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation New Directions Fellowship
    New Directions Fellowships assist faculty members in the humanities and humanistic social sciences who seek to acquire systematic training outside their own areas of special interest.  This is a limited submission opportunity; interested faculty will compete in an internal competition and nominees will be notified of their eligibility to apply.
