Giving Day 2019 was the University’s biggest yet, with over $3.25 million raised across campus. CAS played a large role in that. Over 1,500 gifts were made across the College to raise $201,059.16—a new record! CAS participated in three challenges, and the leaders switched constantly throughout the day. Below you’ll find the winners of the challenges and the prize money awarded:
|ARTS & SCIENCES DONOR CHALLENGE|
|ARTS & SCIENCES MOST IMPROVED CHALLENGE|
|Place||Program||Donors||Percent of 2018 Donors||Prize|
|ARTS & SCIENCES MOST REVENUE CHALLENGE|
In addition to these winners, the Chemistry and Biology Departments won the oldest graduating class hourly challenge for an additional $1,000 (split between the two departments), and extra kudos to the Biology Department, who once again won the faculty/staff hourly challenge for an added $1,000 in bonus funds.
Thank you all for your great work in fostering a community of learning and generosity. If you still have Giving Day cash gifts in your possession, please deliver them to Gifts and Records at 1 Silber Way (7th floor) as soon as possible, and please let Development & Alumni Relations know any feedback you have regarding the preparations for your Giving Day campaign by completing this short survey.
