What are the main functions of the Associate Dean of Diversity & Inclusion?

  • Advises the Dean of the College on diversity, equity and inclusion-related matters
  • Helps define strategic priorities, and develop and implement policy to advance the College’s commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Provides strategic consultations for faculty, staff, and students, including concerns related to climate, hiring, creation of pipeline programs, and curriculum
  • Oversees the Diversity and Inclusion Action Team
  • Supervises the Deputy Title IX Coordinator
  • Shares relevant professional development and community engagement resources with CAS community members
