Join us Monday, April 3rd, at 6pm in the Questrom Auditorium for a lecture from Professor Leora Bilsky titled “The Question of Restitution: From Post Holocaust to Post Colonial Struggles.” Professor Bilsky will discuss the struggles of two victim groups, Jewish scholars after WWII and Kenyan and German activists, to create inventory lists for large-scale restitution of looted books and cultural artifacts, challenging the traditional conception of restitution in legal discourse. Reception and refreshments will begin at 5pm. Registration is required.
