The symposium, "Restorative Justice and Societal Repair: Global Racism and Reparations,” invites academics, students, community activists, and others to Boston University to discuss these ongoing issues of global racism and the debate over reparations/redress for the enslavement and colonization of African-descended people. The overall aim of the event is to provide a forum for exchange to propose possible recommendations for restitution for past harms, cognitive justice, repair, and transformation of the global community in this UN Decade of African-Descended People.
