What is the Sports Pass?
Students who enroll full-time (or are certified full-time) are automatically enrolled in the Student Sports Pass (also known as the “Agganis Arena Event Pass“). The cost is approx. $140 per year; it is not covered by any type of fellowship and it is the student’s responsibility to either cancel or pay it. The Sports Pass is loaded onto a student’s Terrier (BU ID) Card for entry to all BU athletic events. Students who do not have an active Sports Pass will need to purchase event tickets. The Sports Pass is not a membership to the University’s FitRec Center (that’s already included in your Health & Wellness Fee and this is covered by fellowship aid).
How do I cancel it/receive a refund?
For individualized information regarding your Sports Pass, or to cancel your sports pass prior to September 1, visit the MyBU Student Portal and go the Money Matters tab – or – submit a Sports Pass Waiver Form on the Student Accounting website. To cancel your Sports Pass after September 1, please bring your BU ID card to the Agganis Arena Ticketing Office to ensure your Sports Pass has not been used.
