EdTech as the Engine: Turning AI Research into Scalable Learning Companies
A curated session for founders and investors focused on where to build and invest in AI driven education. This event is a part of #BOSTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem.
As AI rapidly reshapes education, we will examine specific opportunities where research is translating into scalable edtech products. The discussion will focus on evidence based learning systems, adaptive AI curricula, and clear pathways to measurable outcomes. We will identify where capital can accelerate deployment, how to move faster from research to product, and what it takes to bring AI solutions into schools and institutions today. The program includes a focused presentation on training AI agents for educators, with practical approaches to building, deploying, and integrating agent systems into real teaching workflows. Bringing together founders, researchers, and investors, the goal is to align product, research, and capital to accelerate adoption and scale high impact edtech solutions. Speakers include: —Ola Ozernov-Palchik, BU Wheelock and MIT —Nina Huntemann, EDT Partners —Claudia Urrea, Director, MIT K-12 Initiative Learn more at www.tech-week.com.| When | 9:00 am - 10:30 am on 30 May 2026 |
