Distinguished Morse Lecture: Climate Change and Tomorrow’s Africa
The African Studies Center at Boston University invites you to Climate Change and Tomorrow’s Africa, a two-day conference taking place Thursday, April 16 through Friday, April 17, 2026, at 213 Bay State Road in Boston. Part of the Bradford Morse Distinguished Lecture and Walter Rodney Seminars series, this event brings together scholars, practitioners, and the public to explore the impacts of climate change across the African continent and consider pathways forward. The conference will feature a keynote lecture by Dr. Harrison Charo-Karisa of the World Bank Group on Thursday at 5:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to join for timely discussions, research insights, and interdisciplinary perspectives on one of the most pressing global challenges.
