Intersecting Identities: Insights from Deaf Faculty Across Diverse Backgrounds
As part of National Deaf LGBTQ Awareness Week, join us for a dynamic panel discussion featuring Deaf Studies faculty members. Panelists will explore the complexities of navigating academia, through an intersectional focus, as Deaf individuals with diverse cultural, racial, and gender experiences. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue on dismantling ableism, fostering accessibility, and advancing social justice within institutional frameworks. The presentation will be in both ASL and spoken English with interpreting provided.
