Bubbly Beyond Champagne - Free Wine Tasting
Explore and taste a variety of sparkling wines beyond champagne with Ara Sarkissian. While Champagne is the best known category of sparkling wines, we'll explore the rich variety of other sparkling wine categories: Zesty Cremants from France, rich, toasty Franciacorta from Italy, distinctive Cava from Spain, fruity Prosecco, and Method Ancestrale wines also known as Pet Nats. Join us as we taste 5 samples of sparkling wines and learn about the variety of options beyond Champagne. Ara Sarkissian leads this free wine tasting. He is a Certified Wine Educator, holds the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits, and has earned the Boston University Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center’s Level-4 Diploma with Distinction. Ara Sarkissian teaches in the Boston University wine program and works in the wine trade consulting in the retail and import sectors.
