EU-US Relations in Turbulent Times
Join us for a talk by KU Leuven Professor Dr. Jan Wouters, moderated by BU Professor Alexander de la Paz. EU-US relations are evolving rapidly since the beginning of President Trump’s second term. January 2026 saw new tensions in the context of the President’s bid for Greenland, with a special European Council convening on January 22 and sending strong messages to the US. This talk provides an update of the evolving relationship and what it means for economic, political and security relations between the two blocs.
