The World According to Sound
Boston University’s Center for the Humanities invites you to The World According to Sound: a free, immersive audio experience by producers Chris Hoff and Sam Harnett about the power of sound and the spirit of academic inquiry. Surrounded by a ring of speakers, you’ll interact with soundscapes that will challenge you to experience the world through your ears. Listen to the Golden Gate Bridge, the footsteps of ants, and choirs singing in 6th-century churches. The performance will be followed by a Q&A with the producers. This event will be held Wednesday, March 4th from 11-12:45pm at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre. Tickets are free, but registration is recommended. Visit the Eventbrite link below for more information. Also on Wednesday, March 4th, join BUCH and the World According to Sound team for a free sound engineering workshop designed for podcasting and audio production. This event will be held on the Walcott Stage at the Boston Playwrights’ Theatre.
