BA in Art Capstone Symposium 2026

The Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts invites you to join the BA in Art Capstone Symposium on Monday, April 27 from 6 - 8pm in the Howard Thurman Center, Room 205. The Symposium is the culmination of four years of artistic development and rigorous study.

Each of the five students from the BA in Art program will be presenting their final projects integrating arts research with broad-based studio art training. It highlights how students have integrated art-making with diverse academic interests across the University. Each project reflects a unique synthesis of research, critical inquiry, and creative practice. Their work initiates conversation about how art can intersect with fields like science, literature, technology, and social advocacy, underscoring the power of the visual arts as a tool for investigation and expression.
