Beginner Winter Hike & Cafe Stop: Lonesome Lake
Join BU Outdoor Programs on our hike to Lonesome Lake in the White Mountain National Forest. Lonesome Lake offers one of the most scenic winter hikes in New Hampshire. This hike offers a gradual climb through serene forest to the frozen shore of Lonesome Lake, where you’ll be rewarded with views of Franconia Ridge. Stop for a mid-hike warm-up in Lonesome Lake Hut, one of AMC’s historic White Mountain backcountry huts.
