2025 Early Childhood Keynote Lecture: Challenges to Child Health & Well-Being: A Global Perspective on Complex Systems
The Boston University Wheelock Institute of Early Childhood Well-Being (EC Institute) is proud to invite you to its 2025 Annual Early Childhood Keynote Lecture: Challenges to Child Health and Well-Being: A Global Perspective on Complex Systems, with speaker Adnan A. Hyder, MD, MPH, Ph.D., Dean & Robert A. Knox Professor at Boston University School of Public Health. Dr. Hyder is internationally recognized as one of the world’s foremost scholars in health systems and policy. With more than 25 years of experience advancing global health in low- and middle-income countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, his pioneering research has shaped the understanding of system design and constraints, biomedical ethics, safety, and injury prevention in developing contexts of scarcity. The EC Institute’s Annual Keynote Lecture provides a forum to explore pressing issues impacting the health and well-being of young children, locally and beyond. We welcome policymakers, early childhood professionals, community leaders, and advocates to participate in this vital discussion. The event will feature a welcome reception followed by a keynote address and a panel discussion.
