MFA Sculpture and MFA Print Media & Photography Thesis Exhibitions
The BU College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts MFA Sculpture and MFA Print Media & Photography Class of 2026 Thesis Exhibition is on view in BU Art Galleries' Faye G., Jo, and James Stone Gallery from April 3 through April 18. The exhibition is open to the public during gallery hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
In the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) program in Sculpture, students are encouraged to explore personal expression through a variety of media and diverse stylistic forms. Work ranges from intense observation to imagination and invention and reflects various philosophical and artistic points of view.

The Print Media & Photography Master of Fine Arts (MFA) emphasizes photographic and printmaking practices within a contemporary art context. Interdisciplinary by its nature, the program reimagines conventional methods and allows students to refine and expand their practice, encouraging inquiry, experimentation, and an inventive approach.

BU SVA’s Thesis Exhibitions and presentations showcase work by graduating MFA candidates across Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Print Media & Photography, and Visual Narrative. These culminating exhibitions highlight the diverse practices, critical inquiries, and innovative approaches shaping the next generation of contemporary artists and designers.
