[HMS] Interviews, Salaries and Negotiation
Interviewing is the most important part of any professional opportunity, and oftentimes can be the most nerve-racking. Come to this workshop to pick up some interviewing tips, and learn how to navigate even the toughest of interviews. Participants will walk away with new knowledge about the best practices of informational interviewing, and how these networking dialogues can greatly impact your chances of landing an interview, and ultimately, their dream role.
As a result of attending this session, students will be able to:
Compare the differences between informational and formal interviewing.
Understand key attitudes, behaviors, and strategies to interviewing
Assess their previous experience(s) with interviewing
Practice key interviewing strategies in a safe and structured environment
Have fun, share ideas and ask questions
