Research in Action: Making a Local Impact with Boards and Commissions: A Conversation with April English, Chief Secretary, Boards and Commissions, Office of Governor Healey
Serving on a state board or commission can offer BU faculty a powerful opportunity to make an immediate impact on state policy. On Thursday, September 25, join April English, Chief Secretary for Boards and Commissions in the Office of Governor Healey, for an engaging discussion on the process of applying to and serving on boards and commissions at the state level and the significance of serving locally.
This virtual event will also feature a panel of BU faculty members who bring firsthand experience in these roles.
