Tuesday Night Lecture Series: Logan Grider
As part of the Tuesday Night Lecture Series (TNLS), Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts presents a lecture by artist Logan Grider, organized by the MFA Painting program.
Logan Grider received his MFA from Yale University; studied at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture; received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; and studied at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy. He has been an artist in residence at the Ballinglen Arts Foundation in County Mayo, Ireland and at Carraig-na-gCat, the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation residency in County Cork, Ireland. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and reviewed in Artforum, ArtNews, The Brooklyn Rail, The Houston Chronicle, The Boston Globe, Hyperallergic, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. He is an Associate Professor of Art at Swarthmore College where he has taught since 2009.
