Opening Reception: Sites of Convergence "Interstice" CFA Student Exhibition
Join Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts and School of Music for the opening reception of the Sites of Convergence student exhibition, Interstice on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at 111 Cummington Mall, Boston, MA, Rooms B34, B36, B40.
Sites of Convergence is part of a multi-site, interdisciplinary project that reimagines unused classrooms and non-traditional exhibition spaces as dynamic sites for artistic exploration and exchange. This student exhibition, presented in collaboration with the Berlin-based arts collective House for the End of the World (HEW), engages with themes such as spatial transformation, institutional memory, and the evolving relationship between body, sound, and environment through experimental installation, sound, and performance.
The exhibition features work by BFA and MFA Sculpture students in the Space and Place course taught by Assistant Professor of Art E. Tubergen, and School of Music Composition students led by Professor of Music Joshua Fineberg.
Featuring: Nathan Dixon, BFA Sculpture (CFA'26), Zandra Flynn, BFA Sculpture (CFA'27), Abbie Garretson, BFA Sculpture (CFA'26), Niana Gu, MFA Sculpture (CFA'27), Amelia Jerlach, BFA Printmaking and Sculpture (CFA'27), M.R.
