BA in Art Capstone Exhibition
The Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts 2025 BA in Art Capstone Exhibition celebrates the culmination of four years of artistic development and rigorous study. The exhibitions will be on view from May 5 through May 16 in Gallery 5, with a public reception on Monday, May 5, from 7 to 9pm.
The BA Capstone Exhibition showcases the work of 8 graduating students from the BA in Art program, which integrates arts research with broad-based studio art training. The exhibition highlights how students have integrated art-making with diverse academic interests across the university. Whether through painting, photography, sculpture, installation, or time-based media, each project reflects a unique synthesis of research, critical inquiry, and creative practice. The work on view invites viewers into a conversation about how art can intersect with fields like science, literature, technology, and social advocacy—underscoring the power of the visual arts as a tool for investigation and expression.
