Making Masks with Melody Anderson
Canadian mask artist and playwright Melody Anderson has been masking masks for theatrical productions for decades. Join her on Zoom for a launch of a new pedagogical resource for teachers and artists, hosted by the Women & Masks Project at BU. During this event, Melody will introduce and screen two short videos that she has created: an artist talk and a demo of her accessible and non-toxic technique that she has developed to make versatile and refined masks for professional productions. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A about her technique and her career. Melody was a featured presenter in our 2021-22 Women and Masks Conference, and we are thrilled to host her again!
