Free Climbing Equipment Rentals

In celebration of FitRec’s 20th Anniversary all gear rentals including climbing shoes, harnesses, belay devices and chalk bags are free (normally valued over $6 per rental package) during open recreation hours at the climbing wall. If you are new to climbing, this is a great place to start. Stop by our climbing wall during any open recreation hours throughout the week. Just head down to the ProShop to grab your gear, walk over to our climbing wall and our staff will help you out from there. They will provide you with a new user orientation and will be available to belay you on our top ropes, so long as it doesn't get too rowdy down there! Shop. Our climbing wall attendants will be available to help you belay.
