McKinsey Info Session: Academia to Consulting
<P><B>Description:</B> What is it like to join a global consulting firm if you have a background in academia? Come hear from McKinsey consultants with advanced professional degrees (APD) talk about their journeys and learn more about our McKinsey Insight Program. McKinsey values consultants with PhDs and other graduate-level degrees - they have fantastic research skills, specific domain knowledge, and ways of thinking that are important to our firm and our clients.</P> <P><B>What to expect:</B> Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about consulting opportunities for APD (advanced professional degrees) candidates and the McKinsey Insight Program. APD candidates include PhDs, Postdocs, JDs, and non-MBA Master’s students (with at least 4 years in between the completion of your undergrad degree and graduate degree) and medical students, interns, residents, or fellows. </P> <P><I>If you are a non-MBA Master's Student with less than 4 years, you are considered a Business Analyst candidate and this session will not be as useful for you as the timeline varies slightly. Please refer to our website to see events for our BA candidates and to see other opportunities. </P></I>
