The Power of Her Story: Women in Journalism Today
In honor of International Women’s Day, join Boston University’s College of Communication for an insightful conversation with three distinguished women shaping the journalism industry. From investigative reporting to international news and music journalism, our panelists will share their experiences, challenges, and perspectives on the evolving media landscape.
Panelists:
Bingru Wang (MET'10), international journalist based in Washington D.C., Hong Kong Phoenix Satellite TV, covering U.S.-China relations and daily White House news. Ally Jarmanning (COM'08), senior reporter at WBUR, host and reporter of the podcast “Last Seen: Postmortem.”<br> Victoria Wasylak (COM'17), award-winning music journalist, columnist for The Boston Globe, and Boston music editor of Vanyaland.
