House for the End of the World: 3D Printing and AI Workshop
Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts and School of Music present a Spring 2025 workshop series with the Berlin-based arts collective House for the End of the World (HEW).
Explore the intersection of 3D printing and artificial intelligence in contemporary installation art with SOM Professor of Composition Joshua Fineberg and AI visual artist Dario Srbic. Srbic will introduce AI-driven models and generative systems, demonstrating their integration into artistic practices through examples from his own work.
This workshop is part of a five-part series leading up to The Other One: Dependency, Distortion, Displacement, an interdisciplinary exhibition opening in Fall 2025 on BU's campus. The exhibition explores themes of technological reliance, urban development, and identity, featuring HEW artists Joshua Fineberg (Professor, Composition; Director, Center for New Music), performance artist Elana Katz, and AI and visual artist Dario Srbic, alongside contributions from CFA students.
