House for the End of the World Introduction Workshop
Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Visual Arts and School of Music presents a spring 2025 workshop series with the Berlin-based arts collective House for the End of the World (HEW).
The first of five sessions will explore site-specific art installations and performance, both in a general context and specifically in relation to HEW’s past projects.
HEW artists, Joshua Fineberg (Professor, Composition; Director, Center for New Music), performance artist Elana Katz, and AI and visual artist Dario Srbic will present their works and and discuss the upcoming House for the End of the World exhibition The Other One: Dependency, Distortion, Displacement. Opening in Fall 2025, the exhibition will examine themes of technological reliance, urban development, and identity, featuring works by HEW artists alongside contributions from CFA students.
