Snow Tubing with the Newbury Center & Outdoor Programs
Join the Newbury Center and Outdoor Programs on Saturday, February 8 from 10:00am to 3:00pm for a trip to New England’s largest tubing park at Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Littleton, Massachusetts. There you’ll enjoy two hours cruising the slopes. Lifts will take you up and down the hill to take advantage of Nashoba’s up to 18 tubing lanes! Outdoor Programs can provide winter coats, snow pants, gloves, mittens, winter boots, and hats as needed. On the day of the trip, you will pick out the items you need to have an enjoyable trip experience! Nashoba Valley will supply the snow tubes and slopes. All Outdoor Programs trips include the necessary transportation from the Boston University Fitness and Recreation Center (915 Commonwealth Ave) to and from the activity location. For this trip, you will depart FitRec at 10:00am and will arrive at Nashoba Valley at 11:00am. You will snow tube from 11:00am to 1:00pm. After tubing, Outdoor Programs will provide lunch. You can expect to be back on campus by early afternoon. If you are interested in attending, please fill out this form to enter our lottery, as we have limited spaces available. Winners will be selected and notified on Friday, January 31 and will be asked to pay a $5 deposit to hold their space (all deposits will be repaid upon attendance of the event). Please consider joining us for this wonderful opportunity to enjoy a fun winter activity with fellow Terrier F1RSTS!
