Rhode Island Indigenous History

Join STH Faith & Ecological Justice for a talk with Nada Samih-Rotondo. She is a multi-genre Palestinian American writer, educator, and mother. Her work has been featured in Masters Review, Gulf Stream Literary Magazine, and Squat Birth Journal. Nada Samih-Rotondo will be sharing about RI Indigenous history and places, emphasizing their connections to ecology, environmental justice, and place-making. During her talk, she will reference her book, All Water Has Perfect Memory, which is a memoir that takes readers from the author’s ancestral origins- the coast of Yaffa, Palestine, eventually landing on the shores of Rhode Island.
