Speaker: Marc Maffei, PhD, Postdoctoral Associate, Sargent College of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences
Talk Title: Speech, Language, and Motor Skills in Late Talkers
Bio: Marc Maffei is speech-language pathologist and postdoctoral researcher at the BU Infant Communication Lab. He received both his M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Marc’s primary research interests concern oral motor and language development in neurodevelopmental disorders like autism spectrum disorder and developmental language disorder. When he is not in the lab, he enjoys running, hiking, and reading.
