“Science Across Borders” Featuring Tim Ritchie
Scientific advances benefit from collaboration between researchers, but what happens when material, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), is controversial and important to a country’s national security? Is there a middle ground between sharing information and denying access? How can we regulate cooperation? Join us for the next event in WorldBoston‘s Great Decisions series featuring Tim Ritchie, President of the Museum of Science. This program will feature an expert presentation, live audience Q&A, and time for networking and discussion with other globally-oriented participants. This event is co-sponsored by WorldBoston, GBH Forum Network, the Lowell Institute, and the Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. It will take place on January 28 from 6:00-7:30 PM ET in the CDS Conference Center on the 17th Floor of the Boston University Center for Computing and Data Sciences at 665 Commonwealth Avenue. The event will also be live-streamed on Zoom. The event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
