Bridging Minds: Interdisciplinary Insights into the Acquisition of Second Language Knowledge Types
Theoretical dissociations between implicit and explicit knowledge of second language (L2) evolved relatively independently within the fields of second language acquisition and language education. This presentation explores the intersection of these domains, with a focus on recent longitudinal research examining the relationship between L2 knowledge and activity types. The talk will conclude with a discussion of the theoretical, methodological, and pedagogical implications of this line of work, as well as directions for future research
