Realizing Radical Hope Speaker Series: Dr. Michael Chang
Co-designing Expansive Educational Futures: Envisioning Equitable AI-Ed Possibilities
Welcome to the Realizing Radical Hope Speaker Series at the Earl Center for Learning & Innovation! Join us for an inspiring event where thought leaders will share their insights on creating positive change and fostering hope in our communities. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and explore new ideas for a better future.
As artificial intelligence (AI) has been envisioned to support teaching and learning, researchers have sought to engage students, teachers, and families in order to build more ethical and effective tools. However, many of those co-designed tools nevertheless fit within existing inequitable instructional practices. In this talk, Dr. Chang will present a multi-year co-design study that engages students and teachers in dreaming about equitable possibilities for schooling and AI outside of the dominant status quo.
