LGBTQIA+ Scholar Series: Contributions from the LGBTQ+ Communities to the End of the HIV Epidemic
Featuring Carlos E. Rodriguez-Diaz, Professor and Chair, Department of Community Health Sciences In this presentation, Dr. Carlos E. Rodriguez-Diaz will review the role of LGBTQ populations in the response to the HIV epidemic from the 1980s until today. Dr. Rodriguez-Diaz will highlight the contributions of LGBTQ people in changing the landscape for community engagement in research, not only in response to the HIV epidemic but also in addressing health inequities. Ending the HIV epidemic is possible, and he will discuss how to do it with the engagement of LGBTQ communities. Sponsored by the LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff and the School of Public Health
