Echoes of Herstory: Exploring Generational Legacies and Cultural Belongings Through Chilean Theater
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Lagos Rivera, a renowned theater researcher and dramatist from Chile, who will lead a conversation and theater workshop on Monday, November 4th, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pardee School of Global Studies in 121 Bay State Rd.
Dr. Lagos Rivera, who holds a PhD from University of Augsburg in Germany, focuses on themes such as belonging, (dis)placement, concrete and metaphorical territorialities, and gender studies in Latin America. Her work challenges us to explore perspectives and generational legacies through the lens of performing arts.
This event is open to anyone interested in engaging with theater and cultural reflections. The organizers encourage participants to share their insights and experiences, to build an environment of creative expression and dialogue. They seek to create a space where we can all resonate with the themes explored in Dr. Lagos Rivera’s work.
The event will be conducted in Spanish.
