Fruition's View: A Conversation with Jacob Webster
The BU Arts Initiative is excited to bring renowned photographer Jacob Webster to Boston University as an artist-in-residence from November 12 to November 13. This conversation takes place on the first day of the residency and will explore Webster's journey to becoming a photographer and how his experiences have shaped his story. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Alisa Prince, scholar, artist, and curator of visual arts and artifacts of the Black diaspora.
Jacob Webster is a freelance creative director and photographer with a decade of experience specializing in beauty and fashion photography. As a self-taught artist, Jacob embodies creativity, authenticity, and resilience. Working at the intersection of beauty, fashion, and culture, Jacob helps millennial creatives find their voice through image and content creation.
