Cultural Humility in Action at BUMC: Our Role as Researchers & Clinicians
Please join the GMS Community Catalyst Center for our next seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Presented by Associate Dean for Diversity & Inclusion Angelique Harris, PhD, this seminar will explore: - Cultural humility as a practice of self-reflection to inform greater understanding and respect for cultural differences - Notions of identity, power, privilege and social justice and how they apply to work as students, researchers and clinicians - How we can continue to practice cultural humility in our daily work at GMS and the greater BU and Boston communities Lunch will be provided.
