Money and Medicine in Malawi: Linking State Health Spending to Health Outcomes
As part of a broader project examining how democracy and inclusionary governance shape health outcomes, Kim Yi Dionne will present research connecting state investment in public health to health service provision, and ultimately, population health and well-being. Her presentation will focus on Malawians’ experiences in the health sector. How do investments in health infrastructure and services by Malawi’s government and external donors influence public perceptions, as well as health outcomes?
