Connect for Success: Networking 101
Learn about the power of networking and use it to your advantage! This networking night is the perfect way to simultaneously build your networking skills and professional connections. Regardless of your level of experience, come to this event to learn about and have the opportunity to apply best practices for one of the most critical aspects of your career journey — networking. This workshop includes identifying professional goals, utilizing your networking plan, and creating an elevator pitch. Students will learn the key components to creating a strong elevator pitch to use during career fairs and networking opportunities. Following the workshop, there will be open networking time with a group of established alumni professionals. Regardless of your field of study or interest, connecting with professionals about their career journey can help you gain clarity and a sense of direction about yours.Dinner is provided!
