International Education Policies and Practices in East Asia: Changing Environment and Preferences
Secondary and post-secondary education environments are undergoing significant changes due to geopolitical and geoeconomic tensions and demographic issues. These issues affect international education policies and practices in East Asian countries. Also, students' and their parents' attitudes, preferences, and priorities about studying abroad and international learning are influenced not only by national policies but also by social and economic conditions, including labor markets. This talk will provide practical information for those working in international recruitment and admissions, international education and partnerships, and international student services.
This will be a lecture by Professor Hiroshi Ota of Hitotsubashi University
