FT 310 Screenwriting Lecture: Stacy Traub, COM Writer-in-Residence
Acclaimed writer and executive producer Stacy Traub will join the College of Communication this spring as the college’s second Writer-in-Residence.Traub brings to COM her deep expertise and decades of experience in the film and television industry. Her portfolio of work includes hit broadcast and streaming shows, such as “Mad About You,” “Notes from the Underbelly,” “Glee,” “Black-ish,” and “Daisy Jones & The Six.” She has been nominated for two Emmys for “Daisy” and “Black-ish” as an executive producer.During her residency from March 25 to 29, Traub will deliver lectures on writing for television in COM writing classes and host a “Writers’ Room” workshop. She also will be available to speak to and work with students in classes.Traub will give a plenary lecture on March 26 at 7 p.m. in the Tsai Performance Center.
