Education for All? Literature, Culture and Education Development in Britain and Denmark
Please join us for an Author Meets Critics panel with Cathie Jo Martin, Professor of Political Science at Boston University, as well as a former Director of BU’s Center for the Study of Europe. This event celebrates the release of Prof. Martin's new book—Education for All? Literature, Culture and Education Development in Britain and Denmark.
The panelists will be Peter Hall, Krupp Foundation Professor of European Studies in the Department of Government at Harvard University; Michelle Lamont, Professor of Sociology and of African and African American Studies and the Robert I. Goldman Professor of European Studies at Harvard University; Torben Iversen, Harold Hitchings Burbank Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Government at Harvard University; and Aaron Benevot, Professor of Global Education Policy in the School of Education at the University at Albany-SUNY.
The presentation will be followed by a gala reception in celebration of Prof. Martin's career at Boston University and her contributions to the Department of Political Science and the Center for the Study of Europe in view of her retirement at the end of the academic year.
