Designing and Operating a Bus System for the Future
For the final Transportation & the City series of Fall 2023, the Initiative on Cities and BU City Planning and Urban Affairs Program are proud to present “Designing and Operating a Bus System for the Future!” MBTA project managers Andrew McFarland (CAS & COM ‘11) and Olivia Mobayed, AICP will discuss and share their insights on developing, implementing, and operating a bus system like the MBTA. Both will also share challenges in managing a complex system going through different communities and interests and how the system is looking to shift towards a more environmentally friendly future.
