Plant Yourself Pop-up
Student Wellbeing, in collaboration with BU Zen, is delighted to promote emotional and environmental wellbeing through a pop-up event titled Plant Yourself! Swing by the GSU Link on Wednesday, March 1 between 4:30 – 6:30 pm to decorate a pot for your very own succulent plant. Research shows that coloring can be an effective way to reduce stress by focusing one’s attention on the present moment, similar to how meditation trains one to bring their attention back to the breath whenever the mind wanders. And, did you know exposure to nature has been linked to improved attention, lower stress, better mood, and even upticks in empathy? Don’t miss out on this chance to cultivate emotional and environmental wellbeing through one activity!
