BU CFA: The Art of Tuning the Persian Santur and the Persian Dastgāh Modal System.
Santur musician Ali Mehraban will demonstrate how to tune the Persian Santur to different modes and he will demonstrate the melodies characteristic to different Dastgāh modes in the Persian classical system. He will also discuss improvisation and elaboration techniques.
